Job Description:
At WTS, we are dedicated to providing safe and reliable transportation for students. As we prepare for the new school year, we are seeking reliable and dedicated individuals to join our team of drivers. If you are passionate about working with children, we want to hear from you Our drivers play a vital role in the safe transportation of students to and from school, ensuring their well-being and punctuality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate the designated vehicle following all traffic rules and regulations.
- Pick up and drop off students at designated locations on schedule.
- Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students during transportation.
Requirements:
- Valid MO driver’s license with
- Clean MVR with no history of major traffic violations.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws.
- Familiarity with local routes and neighborhoods.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
- Ability to complete/pass state-required school bus driver class.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings and afternoons.
- CDL is Required for this position
- Has to be 23 years of age and over
- Must have a minimum of 2 years CDL driving history
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in student transportation is a plus, but not required.
- Willingness to undergo any necessary training.
