Job Summary and Qualifications- The Nurse Manager of Surgical Services is responsible for the supervision, coordination, and evaluation of business practices and procedures related to the operating room.
- The Manager also coordinates and supervises the OR Analyst, Surgery schedulers and Unit Secretaries.
- The Nurse Manager of Surgical Services assists the Department Director and Finance Leadership in the implementation of Performance Improvement activities, financial and project management to include operational analytics.
- As a member of the OR Leadership Team, you will work closely with multi-disciplinary leaders to accomplish the mission and values throughout the facility.
- You will network with Business Development and Administrative Leaders with new surgeon onboarding.
- You will assist with daily operations of the OR.
What qualifications you will need:
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
Licensure/certification/registration:
- Texas State RN license or compact license required.
Experience:
- Working knowledge of OR Operations.
- Preferred previous management experience or demonstrated ability to serve in a leadership position.
- Experience with Meditech.
