We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Middleware Engineer to join our AIM ENTERPRISE MESSAGING team. This role is in Lake Mary, FL, and will work a Hybrid schedule (3 days per week in-office required). Candidates must reside within a commutable distance to this work location, as we are unable to accommodate 100% virtual work arrangements.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Building new features for the ESB Service.
- Look for opportunities to automate functions across services.
- Provide self-service capabilities to users of the services.
- Remediation of vulnerabilities.
- Maintain code and work to make improvements that result in improved resiliency and performance.
- Provide platform support for Prod Services team and existing users of services.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Knowledge of IBM ACE v12, JAVA, Docker and Ansible
- Experience in Gitlab, Linux Shell Scripting, Mongo Databases, IBM MQ Client
- Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required5-7 years of experience in software development required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
