Experience:

• 24 months of Operating Room experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Michigan license in hand at the time of application.

• Candidates must live at least 50 miles away from this facility in order to be considered a traveler when applying for this role.

Additional Details:

Guaranteed Hours per Week: 40 hrs

Shift Requirements: Variable start times, but normally 0700-1730. May have earlier start time of 0630, or potentially later of 0800 or 0900 dependent on cases.

Can submit with a block scheduling request - The facility will always try and honor, but never guarantee.

Weekend/Holiday: occasional weekend call – Friday, Saturday and Sun through 0700 on Monday. No holiday shifts, but holiday call is required.

On Call/Call-Back: 1-2x per week from end of shift to 0700 the next day.

Required Education: ADN or BSN

Minimum Experience: Strong circulating experience. should feel comfortable in all perioperative areas – pre, post, OR and PACU in a small critical access facility- This is a HARD requirement, Critical access HIGHLY preferred.

Required skills: ortho and general cases on call for ortho- Total knee, hip, shoulder, ORIFs, many hip fractures, I&Ds, General- lap appy, lap chole, lap hernia, EGD/ Colonoscopy, Lesion removals, lumpectomy, hemorrhoidectomy, OB/GYN- hysteroscopy, hysterectomy, lap salpingectomy, Eyes- cataract removal, podiatry- bunionectomy, urology- cystoscopy with stent, turps

Charting/Equipment: NA - facility uses epic charting.
