Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of Psychiatric Unit experience is preferred.
• 3 months of experience with Epic is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a New Jersey license or compact license in hand at the time of application.
• Candidates must live at least 40 miles away from this facility in order to be eligible to apply for this role.
• COVID vaccination required for onboarding. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required for onboarding. Medical declinations accepted.

Psychiatric Nursing experience Restraint Application De-Escalation techniques
Care of Patients: Maintains Therapeutic Milieu, able to set therapeutic limits, demonstrates effective 1:1 interactions with patients; Understands suicide prevention and assessment; status precautions; seclusion, restraint, and Quiet Area Protocols; Provides care in least restrictive manner. ECT; (ECT Work-up, Pre-Checklist, Post-Checklist); Understands and maintains all different unit specific protocols, rules, and procedures, safe patient handling techniques.
ASN Required. BSN Preferred.
