Hybrid ASL Interpreter for Linguistics and Academia

UC Santa Barbara’s Department of Linguistics seeks a Deaf Translator Interpreter TX to support faculty, staff, and students by providing accurate English–ASL interpretation for classes, meetings and university events. The role requires ongoing preparation, topic research and familiarity with linguistic terminology.

The position is hybrid with on-site expectation at least three days per week; hours typically Mon–Fri 8:00–17:00 with potential evenings and weekends.
