About the role
Since its redesign, the Rippling brand has become a huge asset and differentiator for the company. Now, with the respect and trust of stakeholders at all levels, we are responsible for stewarding the brand across every touchpoint on the web with craft and care.
We are looking for an experienced marketing and advertising Copywriter to extend across high touch and multi-channel brand campaigns, integrated product launches, all the way through performance advertising. The ideal candidate brings a high degree of strategic and conceptual thinking combined with exceptional copywriting skills to uniquely communicate brand sentiment across campaigns for both internal and external audiences.
You will be based in our San Francisco, CA office and will be required to be in office 3x/week.
What you will do
- Work alongside the Creative Director and Creative Campaign team to develop full-funnel campaigns from concept to execution for product launches, brand moments, events, and growth initiatives.
- Collaborate with a cross-disciplinary team of designers and copywriters to develop concepts for a wide range of applications spanning OOH, broadcast, social, performance marketing, environments, print collateral, and more.
- Partner with Customer Marketing to develop bespoke and engaging customer stories.
- Steward stakeholders through the creative process, advocating for both conceptual and functional solutions when appropriate.
- Work with a roster of photographers, videographers, editors, advertising and production agencies, and freelancers to support your vision and work.
What you will need
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role (in-house SaaS experience is always a bonus).
- Ability to point to advertising campaigns and your role bringing them to life.
- A deep understanding of copy's role in the creative process.
- Comfort presenting concepts and campaign platforms.
- Experience partnering with cross-functional teams.
- Desire to validate concepts with real customer feedback.
- See the value in iteration.
- Ability to self-guide and manage projects with minimal direction.
- Ability to embrace feedback and pivot accordingly.
- Drive to find the perfect word choice that creatively solves marketing asks.
- Understanding of Figma, Adobe CS, Asana, JIRA, Google Workspace, Slack, and Google Analytics.

This role will receive a competitive salary + benefits + equity. The salary for US-based employees will be aligned with one of the ranges below based on location; see which tier applies to your location here.
The pay range for this role is:
84,000 - 147,000 USD per year (US Tier 1)
