DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Delivery-Specific Project Support & Contributions
  • Design, implement, and maintain tools and processes to ensure the software development life cycle is efficient and error-free
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop scalable web applications and software solutions
  • Design new code, repeatable code & architecture patterns for assigned projects
  • Collaborate with the respective team to identify and fix technical problems in projects
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure the quality and integrity of the codebase
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications to identify and resolve issues
  • Identify risks, communicate them, and form contingency plans promptly
  • Keep respective stakeholders informed of task progress
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and industry standards
  • Work closely with Project Managers and other stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within scope
Operations & Best Practices
  • Contribute to the organization’s operational best practices
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends, compliance, and developments
Contributions to the Work Environment:
  • Contributor will abide by Divelement's company policies and advise on areas for improvement to the People Operations team

  • Contributor will follow the published processes and playbooks pertaining to their area of expertise and share feedback on improvements
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS Technical
  • Must be skilled and experienced in the following coding languages and frameworks:
  • +5 years of experience with NodeJS
  • Experienced with AWS (Lambda, SQS, and experience in Gateways, Security Groups, serverless)
  • Creation of data pipelines in AWS
  • Experience with Netsuit is a big plus
Soft Skills
  • Must embody accountability, bias to action, and collaboration
  • Strong time-management and organizational abilities
  • Strong coding skills
  • Ability to delegate
  • Analytical thinking
  • Excellent communication in English
  • Positive motivational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field or experience
TOTAL COMPENSATION

We base our compensation on the following factors: location, experience, exposure, & skills. Divelement offers a remote-first work environment where autonomy and accountability go hand-in-hand. This is a short-term project under a contractor scheme.
