Environmental Specialist

Purpose & Scope:
Assist in all aspects of crop/livestock farming. Assist in land and water resource management. Maintenance and care of farm equipment, irrigation and other and other fixed assists. To assist the EF Group with the optimal application of effluent.
Principle Responsibilities:
Functions may include but are not limited to: Routine inspection of water lines, effluent lagoon integrityOperate irrigation equipmentGeneral farm labor and maintenance Travel Required:
Minimal, as needed.
Required Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalentValid driver s licenseAbility to communicate effectively with team membersAbility to perform physical laborBasic plumbing skillsBasic computer skillsAbility to work under time constraintsAbility to work 50 hours a week or more as needed Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience with heavy equipment operationPrevious experience in maintenancePrevious farming and irrigation experience Relationships/Contacts: Interact with fellow EF employees to perform daily tasksCommunicate and coordinate with the EF Manager and other managers as neededInteract with other teams such as Feed mill, Maintenance, farm employees and management to accomplish goals EOE/VET/DISABLED
