About the Role:
Job Title: Mumps Developer
Responsibilities:
- Looking for an Engineer who has both systems, Profile application, and software backgrounds. Duties include development in technologies and practices: 24x7 application support, Linux system administration, bash, resiliency and automation, Mumps, Profile Scripting Language (PSL), SQL.
- Maintain the cloud infrastructure and related services of the Profile application
- Build automation and monitoring solutions
- Utilize programming languages like Python, C, Shell Programming, CHEF, Terraform, NoSQL databases, and a variety of AWS tools and services
- Work with the Engineering Team Leader and business owners to refine and clarify project requirements.
- Participate in 24x7 support of the Profile application
- Ensure that all code retains logical stability, reliability, confidentiality, and integrity.
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience supporting 24x7 enterprise applications such as financial products
- Ability to debug, optimize code, and automate routine tasks
- 3+ years of experience in Agile practices
- 2+ years working in a Profile application environment
- 2+ years of experience in shell scripting
- AWS experience is a must
- Must have Mumps, Profile Scripting Language experience
- Must have programming languages like Python, C, Shell Programming, CHEF, Terraform, NoSQL databases,
Location: REMOTE
Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $140K - $180K annually. Factors that may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
