Medical Denials Specialist – Onsite in Alcoa TN

LHH is seeking a Medical Denials candidate with 1 or more years of experience, for our client in Alcoa This large healthcare organization is adding to their team due to growth. This position is ideal for those seeking opportunities in a large organization

Summary overview:

· Type of hire: Temp to Hire

· Location: 100% onsite, Alcoa TN – high performers may be permitted to work a hybrid schedule after hired on permanent

· Hours: Monday – Friday, 8am-4:30pm

· Pay rate: $16 to $18/hour

Responsibilities will include:

· Reviewing denied/rejected claims from carriers (Medicaid, Medicare, Managed Care, and Commercial insurances)

· Collecting payer information for claim rejections

· Directing rejected claims to other departments, as needed

· Flagging non-uniform claims including unusual adjustments, denials, fee schedules, etc.

Minimum qualifications you need:

· 1 or more years of experience in Medical Collections, with emphasis on denials

· Fast and accurate typing and data entry skills

· Strong ability to work independently, in a goal-driven environment

· Reliable attendance and punctuality
