RN Role in Mesa, Arizona

Responsibilities:
  • Determine donor eligibility through informed consent management, medical history interviews, physical examinations, and blood testing.
  • Evaluate and manage donor reactions as per standard operating procedures (SOPs), including medical emergencies.
  • Refer to the Center Physician or Medical Affairs for guidance on unacceptable findings or medical/technical issues.
  • Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees.
  • Manage employee incidents and coordinate further evaluations as needed.
  • Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized, supporting investigations related to pandemic threats.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; graduate of a recognized nursing program meeting state requirements.
  • Current licensure or certification as RN, NP, or PA in assigned state.
  • Current CPR and AED certification.
  • Fulfill state requirements (in state of licensure) for basic IV therapy.
  • Complete FDA-approved training for BioLife Medical Support Specialist.
  • Minimum two years' experience in a clinical or hospital setting.

Pay Details: $31.00 to $35.00 per hour
