Job Summary:

The Herbal Connection - one of Lane County's largest dispensaries is looking for a part-time closing Budtender Are you a team player? Are you self-motivated? Our Budtenders assist management and staff with daily activities and operations of the store, while strictly following all compliance regulations, OLCC laws, policies, procedures and operational guidelines while maintaining exceptional customer service.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Maintain knowledge of strains, products, consumption methods, and cannabis culture.
• Maintain a clean and presentable appearance of the dispensary.
• Promote a work environment that is positive, customer-service oriented, and compliant.
• Check government issued identification to confirm customers are of legal age to purchase cannabis.
• Keep the dispensary and retail store clean and organized
• Have knowledge of all current products and maintain the menu accurately.
• Restock all materials and products as necessary.
• Responsible for accurate cash handling.
• Follow state regulations and established policies and procedures.
• Accurately use and maintain the Point of Sale (POS) system and all cash handling.
• Accurate and timely data entry of customer information.
• Provide outstanding customer service with compassionate and professional representation.
• Follow opening and closing procedures.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Ability to remain calm in periods of high stress, and busy foot traffic

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be 21+ and have current OLCC Marijuana Handlers Permit
• Must have high school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year Customer Service experience
• 1 year Budtending experience (Preferred)

Physical Requirements:

• Extended time standing, sitting, walking, bending, and reaching
• Close visual focus required
• This position occasionally requires the extended and repetitive use of arms, hands and fingers to cut and manipulate small objects
