JOB DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW:


The IDX Trainer has the overall responsibility for the orientation and training of all newly hired employees, as well as remedial training for employees whose QA exceeds 5% or whose production goals have not been met.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


Review of departmental policies and procedures for all newly hired employees
Conduct IDX application training and/or retraining in the following applications:
IDX BAR and PCS
MRTS
VBX
OnBase
Assist managers and supervisors in development of training and retraining guides
Oversee IDX/MRTS security access following organization's policy and procedure, maintaining files of all security changes, as well as quarterly reports
Distribute all new policies and procedures to management staff, maintaining file of signed policy acknowledgement forms
Assist Corporate Training Director with development of training materials for new programs and procedures
Assist with production in any department as directed by the Vice President
Assist with development of departmental policies and procedures when new software enhancements are initiated
Special projects as directed by Vice President

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:


Proficiency in IDX billing software
Demonstrated knowledge of physician billing and healthcare reimbursement
Ability to prioritize workload to meet scheduled deadlines
Good verbal and written communication skills
Good analytical skills
PC skills
Minimum high school diploma. BS or BA preferred or equivalent of management/supervisory experience in physician billing related field
Minimum of 3+ years experience in physician billing management
Mandatory overtime as directed by Management
