Climate Corps Fellowship

This Fellowship will focus on progressing Databank's climate risk and resiliency program. We are at early stages of this program and expect it to be a great opportunity for a Fellow to develop policies, processes, and recommendations to expand our ability to address climate change-related risks. We are looking for a fellow to continue to work towards our 2030 net zero goal.

This includes:

1) Supporting our commitment to transparency by assisting with climate-related reporting through CDP, Global Real Estate Sustainability

Benchmark (GRESB), and Taskforce on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD/IFRS Sustainability reporting)

2) Researching additional low-carbon or transitional technologies for data centers, project managing net zero initiatives

3) Continuing our efforts around climate risk management and working with site teams to minimize risks. The fellow will

work closely with the ESG team as well as other functional areas in the company including operations, engineering, and

risk management.

A successful candidate will be a motivated individual who can work in a self-directed environment with guidance from our ESG team; Strong research, analysis and content synthesis skills; proficiency in Microsoft word, excel and powerpoint; familiarity with risk frameworks and assessments; familiarity with climate change/resiliency/adaptation planning; an understanding of climate models; familiarity with climate-related risks in the digital infrastructure and/or data center and/or real estate industry.
