Opportunity for individual with ranching/farm equipment experience, positive customer interaction, and looking to travel (primarily Montana & South Dakota). This position is eligible for CDL Training Costs covered under employment agreement. This is a NEW position for our 4-state organization and may have the opportunity to be flown to our other locations to assist in moving semi-trucks for the sales department. Looking for a ground-floor opportunity to build a career, APPLY TODAY Position Summary: Responsible for safely and timely delivery, unloading/loading of equipment, interact with customers on equipment operation, and maintain a neat and organized lot. Essential Duties & Responsibilities including the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Safely and in a timely manner transport equipment to customer and/or back to the store location
- When delivering to customers, conduct equipment walk-around with the customer answering any questions about the equipment delivered
- Pick-up and deliver Sales Department transfer units; this could include out-of-state transport
- Pick-up and deliver equipment for service and repair
- Ensure delivery vehicles and trailers are clean and in proper working order
- Assist in the unloading/loading of equipment at the store, when available
- Maintain the front and rear lots of the store, to always be clean and organized
- Complete assigned training, as required, for product knowledge, transportation safety, and per company policies and procedures.
- Devote himself/herself to ensuring satisfaction to customers, positively representing the Kubota and Floyd's brand
- Determine management, production, and quality requirements by asking questions and listening.
- Attend company meetings, as required
- Maintain a follow-up system that encourages follow through with assigned projects
- Maintain regular and thorough communication with the assigned team
- Review and analyze actions at the end of each day, week, month, and year to determine how to better utilize time and plans more effectively
- Understand the terminology of the business and keep abreast of technology changes in products and services
- Know and understand the federal, state, and local requirements which govern the company's business
- Follow lawful directions from supervisors
- Understand and follow work rules and procedures
- Participate in performance management
- Interact well with others and be a positive influence on employee morale
