Frank's Supply Company is a major supplier of construction tools and equipment with our focus on both sales and rental. We are currently seeking a qualified Government Sales Representative/Inside Sales for our Los Alamos, NM location.

OBJECTIVE: Through this position we demonstrate our commitment to achieve customer service excellence. This position is responsible for performing customer service tasks in accordance with company business practices and in the professional manner required to build market share and maintain repeat business with our valued customers. Must pass government / federal background check.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Sell and service government and commercial customers by providing pricing and product application information.
  • Learn government purchasing systems to ensure orders are in compliance with government contract requirements
  • Make inside sales generation priority #1 by taking phone/fax /email orders and provide delivery information.
  • Prepare quotes and follow up as required in a timely fashion.
  • Service Outside Sales staff as required - provide timely feedback and a "heads up" on large quotes.
  • Input all orders and quotes into sales system in a timely fashion.
  • Schedule orders according to customer requirements.
  • Communicate with the purchasing department.
  • Maintain day-to-day customer relations and service duties.
  • Stay current on product knowledge. Know the company catalog inside and out.
  • Perform as-needed vendor relations and negotiations.
  • Maintain computer and software-related skills.
  • Attend department and company meetings, as requested.
  • Assist with counter sales as needed.
  • Provide promotional literature and product information as requested.
  • Keep supervisors apprised of customer issues as warranted.
  • Assist with the company's inventory management program when required.
  • Perform duties inherent to all inside sales staff.
  • Communicate with customers regarding new products added or customer feedback on potential new products.
  • Assist other inside sales staff when needed.
Qualified applicants will have:
  • Computer skills
  • Data Entry Preferred
  • Enter orders in a data base administration program - Oracle based software
  • All new employees must pass drug / alcohol screening
  • Must pass government / federal background check
  • Tool Knowledge helpful
