Job Summary and Qualifications
● Provides nursing leadership for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care and safety in assigned areas of responsibility
● Collaborates with physicians and other departments to coordinate the needs of patients and their families
● Manages resources in a fiscally responsible manner
● Supports the mission and vision of the facility, division and company
● Assures quality care through the initiation and evaluation of patient care utilizing performance improvement process
What qualifications you will need
● Associates or Bachelor of Science in Nursing required, BSN preferred
● Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Missouri as a registered nurse is required
● Certifications in area of specialty, BCLS and ACLS is required and to be maintained
● Minimum 3 years of manager/charge experience and 2 years staff nurse experience in area of specialty (inpatient acute care units) required.
Additional Information
Medical Surgical – 49 Beds Unit (split into two units); Intermediate Care level, General, urology, vascular post-surgical patients. Tele Monitoring and behavioral health care. 1:5 Nurse to Patient Ratio; Collaborative support with PCTs, LPNs, Charge Nurses
