Job Qualifications:

● High School diploma or equivalent.

● Prior experience working with children who demonstrate challenging behaviors preferred.

● Either Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification OR desire to work towards receiving

RBT certification.

● Become CPI certified and trained in Trust-Based Relational Intervention (provided by MVCSC).

Job Requirements:

● Collaborate with school staff to design support for students with Autism Spectrum Disorders: the

physical structure of the learning environment, visual schedules/structures, and structured work

systems.

● Provide direct student instruction to assist staff with implementing plans.

● Assist with preparing materials as necessary.

● Prepare, collect, and analyze data on observable student behavior as part of a team.

● Use data to assist with skill acquisition implementation and drive interventions.

● Document interventions, progress data, and observation notes.

● Participate in training, as necessary

● Provide professional development to staff, as necessary

● Implement crisis prevention intervention as outlined by MVCSC corporation policy.

● Collaborate with school staff and families.

● Participate in case conferences for students receiving behavioral support

● Participate in building-level data team meetings.

Job Description:

● Follows the MVCSC school calendar (183 days + 5 additional days): 188 days

● Provide behavior support at one elementary school as outlined in job requirements.
