Job Coach

ECLC is an accredited, nonprofit, educating students ages 5-21 with severe learning and/or language disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, Down syndrome or multiple disabilities at two schools. A separate entity called Community Personnel Services (CPS) provides post-graduate transition services and job placements to any special-needs adult, while another offshoot, the P.R.I.D.E. program, offers vocational training, independent living skills and more.

- Assist the SKIL Teacher in orienting the student to the work environment and employer's expectations

- Able to perform task analyses and work with employer to train the student

- Able to work with employer to design job accommodation and modification

- Able to develop generalization strategies to increase student's independence

- Able to follow all safety, emergency and supervisory procedures determined by the employer and ECLC policies and procedures regarding students in the work-study program.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma minimum
