Graham Healthcare Group is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager who assumes an important role in the accuracy of the monthly financial statements of each business unit. As well, this position manages a team of Accounts Payable Specialists / Coordinators and be responsible for the oversight, consistency and accuracy of all invoice processing of the organization, coordinating with and supporting all areas of the organization to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Accounts Payable Manager Responsibilities:

  • Manages the daily activities of a team of Accounts Payable Specialists / Coordinators

  • Coordinates with clinical teams and others within the organization to ensure invoices are appropriate to pay while taking responsibility to ensure payments amounts are accurate per contracts or policies

  • Researches and remediates accounts payable processing issues as they arise

  • Documents and implements controls to ensure proper coding of invoices and/or allocations

  • Manages monthly accounts payable close process including posting of necessary accrual journal entries and reconciliation of associated accounts

  • Assists in developing and implementing accounts payable processes related to mergers and acquisitions

  • Manages annual 1099 reporting process

  • Ensures proper maintenance of accounts payable records and documentation in compliance with statutory requirements, Sarbanes-Oxley requirements and Company policies

  • Complies with and ensures that teams comply with Graham Healthcare Group’s corporate values of Respect, Innovation, Collaboration and Excellence

Accounts Payable Manager Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration preferred or equivalent experience

  • Minimum five years’ experience in accounts payable including experience managing an accounts payable team and related processes

  • Familiarity with vendor management preferred

  • Strong customer service skills with proven ability to service both internal and external customers

  • Ability to identify procedural deficiencies and recommend and implement solutions

  • Strong attention to detail with a “can do” attitude

  • Proven leader with ability to make decisions
