Flooring Sales Associate

Join our medium-size business which operates as a collaborative team. Commercial flooring company, based in the Capital Region, is seeking a full time Sales Associate to work closely with our Operations and Project Management departments. Draw + Commission is negotiable based on experience.

Our customers need expert flooring solutions for their complex commercial installations, and they depend on us to provide top-notch solutions and service. Direct experience in flooring sales is a plus but not necessary as instruction related to products/installation will be provided. Once acclimated, you will service existing accounts and develop new accounts in the healthcare, state contract, education and retail/mixed use markets.

Sharp communicator -- listen, assimilate customer needs, formulate & present solutions
Organized and self-directed with time management
Ability to use basic computer applications

Can travel to multiple job sites during day

These skills are a plus. The right candidate can be trained:

Ability to Read and Interpret Architectural Drawings or CAD or Callidus Prints
Background in flooring, construction
