Non-Invasive Cardiologist

ThedaCare Cardiovascular Care is seeking a Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join our team.

Position is open due to volumes

Non-Invasive Imaging

• Stress (Nuclear/Echo)
• Echocardiography
• Vascular Ultrasound
• Cardiac CT and MRI – coming summer 2023
• Holter/Event/EKG
• TEEs
• Imaging hospital based

Position Details:

• Schedule is generally 5 days a week – 36 patient contact hours
• Weekend Call rotation for both hospitals (in-patient) is 1:5 or 6, covering both TCN and TCA
  • TCA – patient volume avg 15
  • TCN – patient volume avg 4
  • In-patient rounding is the same week as their weekend call, 1:5
  • Mix of inpatient rounding, outpatient clinic and reading diagnostic imaging studies
• Call one night a week
• 3 days per week clinic: 20 min repeat patients, 40 min new (outpatient)
• 1-2 days per week reading
  • Echo numbers: avg 50 per day
  • Nuc numbers: avg 10 per day
• 8 NP/PA in the group, RNs, MAs and schedulers in the clinic
• Hub and Spoke: Appleton – Hub, Spoke – Clinic in Neenah and Appleton
• Outreach clinic 2-3 times per pay period. Typically assigned 2 outreach sites. – no more than an hour drive
• Team:
  • Oleg – Joined Dec 2021, practicing since 2009
  • Cullinane – Joined Jan 2024
  • Mendiolaza – Joined Feb 2024
  • Hutter-Joining July 2024
• Rest of the team: 6 Interventionalists, 2 CT Surgeons, 1 EP
• TCA 4 cath labs – Philips labs, ACC credited
• TCN 2 cath labs
• Epic EMR
