Virtus Healthcare Staffing is partnering with a leading regional medical center in Spokane, WA to find a compassionate and skilled RN to join their Neuro Rehab team In this fulfilling role, you'll play a vital role in helping patients recover from neurological conditions and regain independence.

About the Opportunity:

As an RN – Neuro Rehab, you'll collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients with a variety of neurological conditions, such as stroke, brain injury, and spinal cord injury. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing individualized patient care plans based on physician orders and patient assessments.
  • Providing direct patient care, including medication administration, wound care, pain management, and activities of daily living (ADL) assistance.
  • Educating and empowering patients and their families about their condition and rehabilitation process.
  • Monitoring vital signs, neurological status, and progress towards treatment goals.
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records.
  • Participating in interdisciplinary team rounds and discussions.

Qualifications:

  • Active Washington State Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a neurologic rehabilitation setting preferred.
  • Strong understanding of neurological conditions and rehabilitation principles.
  • Excellent assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in documentation and medical terminology.
