Production Supervisor

Our client is looking for a Production Supervisor (1st shift) for their manufacturing facility in the Orlando, FL area.This job will have the following responsibilities:Directs work group or department to assure on-time production and/or delivery.Lead, coach, and manage a teamSelects and trains employees to produce at standard-and-above efficiency.Maintain quality standards.Responsible for maintaining high employee morale and positive relationships.Recommends changes or improvement in methods, equipment or processesDrive a lean and continuous improvement cultureQualifications & Requirements:Bachelor's Degree is preferred but additional experience will be considered in lieu of a degree3+ years' supervisory experience in manufacturing is requiredBilingual (Spanish) is a plusLEAN/Kaizen/Continuous Improvement experience is preferredUnion experience is a plusOpen to working 1st shift
