Sanitation Superintendent

Our client is currently seeking a Sanitation Superintendent in New Hampshire.This job will have the following responsibilities:Plan and direct the activities of sanitation personnel during 3rd shiftAssist in the daily evaluation of product quality to ensure compliance with established standardsEnsure proper training of sanitation personnel to follow work rules and proceduresSupport compliance to plant quality and food safety systems, pest control, sanitation, environmental policy, corrective action policy, etcEvaluate job performance of sanitation personnel and take corrective action as neededEnsures master sanitation schedules are maintainedConduct inspections and initiate corrective action as neededOrders all cleaning chemicals and maintains proper inventory levels of chemicals Maintains relationship with suppliersParticipate and lead continuous improvement efforts for the departmentQualifications & Requirements:Bachelor's degree is preferred but additional experience will be considered in lieu of a degree3+ years of quality or sanitation leadership experience in the food manufacturing industryKnowledge of food safety programs and systems:
BRC or SQF preferred, internal auditing, cGMPs, HACCPCIP experience preferredSpanish speaking skills are highly preferred Open to 3rd shift
