Our team is seeking a talented individual to fill the role of a Primary Care Physician - Locum Tenens.

This role is tailor-made for a healthcare professional who thrives in handling diverse health-related issues and is eager to make a substantial impact within a dynamic environment.

Job Description:

As a Primary Care Physician, you will be the cornerstone of our outpatient care, specializing in continuity of care, health maintenance, and disease prevention. You'll have the opportunity to engage in a variety of medical scenarios, from routine check-ups to complex health concerns, all while influencing departmental strategies and making crucial decisions independently.

Responsibilities:

  • Focus on outpatient medicine, prioritizing continuity of care and preventive health measures.
  • Maintain meticulous medical records and comprehensive patient medical histories.
  • Collaborate effectively, referring patients to specialists as required.
  • Play a pivotal role in shaping departmental strategies.
  • Make autonomous decisions on technical approaches for project components.

Must Have Skills:

  • Bachelors
  • Board Eligible
  • Medical license from the Florida Board of Medicine or the Florida Board of Osteopathic Medicine, depending on whether the physician is an MD (Doctor of Medicine) or a DO (Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine).
  • Graduate of accredited MD or DO program or accredited university

Preferred/ Nice to Have:

  • Internal Medicine Specialty

Key Responsibilities & Actions:

  • Focuses on outpatient medicine, health maintenance, continuity of care, and disease prevention
  • Working closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including nurses, specialists, and care coordinators, to ensure coordinated care and effective communication regarding patient needs and treatment plans.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) or medical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards and company protocols.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5 or more years of technical experience.
  • Valid licensure as per state requirements.
  • Graduate of an accredited MD or DO program from a recognized university.
  • Preferably specialized in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine.
  • Board Eligible Or Board Certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine.
  • Participation in our Tuberculosis (TB) screening program due to the patient-facing nature of this role.
