If you are looking for exciting career opportunities with growth potential, come and join the team at Cedars-Sinai Marina del Rey Hospital Job Duties and Responsibilities: The CLS I performs waived, moderately and highly complex laboratory tests as defined by CLIA on patients of all age groups. Performs laboratory procedures correctly, timely, independently and accurately, following established policies and procedures to achieve 100% compliance with Quality Control protocol for running controls and accepting results. Performs instruments maintenance, maintains supply inventory, resolves problems and complaints, and communicates effectively with physicians, co-workers and laboratory management. Documents corrective actions taken when test systems deviate from the laboratory’s acceptable guidelines. Troubleshoots instruments and demonstrates knowledge of calibration and standardization of instruments. Other duties as assigned. Current CLS licensure in the State of California (required). New grad to two years of relevant clinical experience (required) Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing (required) Basic computer knowledge (required) Working Title: Clinical Lab Scientist I - Per Diem, Variable 8-hr shifts - Marina del Rey Hospital Business Entity: Cedars-Sinai Marina del Rey Hospital Job Category: Pathology / Laboratory Position Type: Per Diem Base Pay: $62.22 - $62.22
