Project Surveyor

Job Description:
The Project Surveyor will be responsible for understanding and communicating project scope, managing multiple projects and team members, staff training and mentorship, and providing all land survey documents and deliverables consistent with the position.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Manage survey tasks.
- Schedule survey crews.
- Determine the most appropriate data collection method.
- Field data preparation, record research, process field data, verify accuracy of survey data, perform survey calculations.
- Manage the base mapping process, prepare plats and easements.
- Research previous survey evidence, maps, deeds, physical evidence, and other records to obtain data needed for field surveys.
- Perform field work as needed.
Qualifications:
- Professional Degree in Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, or equivalent.
- 8+ years of related work experience.
- Registered Licensed Surveyor (PS) or ability to obtain licensure within 6-8 months.
- Experience performing ALTA and Boundary Surveys, Topographic/Existing Condition & Route Surveys, and Construction Layout.
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3-D and Trimble product helpful but not required.
