The Judge Group is seeking an experienced Sanitation Supervisor for a large food manufacturing company in Pennsylvania. The qualified individual will provide leadership to staff for maintaining packaging, process and plant cleanliness to ensure a safe and sanitary food manufacturing facility.Responsibilities:Directs the workforce by providing a daily schedule for the Sanitation Department and any other duties assigned by managementMaintains documentation, communication and feedback with employees to ensure they are aware of their expectationsMaintains a program of inspecting cleaning equipment, inventory and ordering cleaning chemicals and replacement parts through scheduled food safety preventative maintenanceDevelops and implements training and cross training programs for Sanitation Department employeesConducts routine daily post cleaning inspections and microbiological samplingReviews CIP charts, CIP flow rates, sanitation records and chemical concentrations for accuracyDocuments and conducts monthly meetings pertaining to good housekeeping, safety and good company policyDevelops and monitors the Sanitation Department s supply and labor budgetEnforces company policy on company rules, safety rules, attendance and Sanitation Department requirementsUpdates and evaluates the Sanitation Department s manual and Master Sanitation Schedule to reflect changes in new equipment, equipment design or changes in the cleaning processConducts training to reflect any changesEvaluates cost effectiveness of Chemical Supplier programsRequirements:2+ years' experience as a Sanitation SupervisorFood or beverage manufacturing experience is heavily preferredMust be open to shiftKnowledge of CIP and COP cleaning techniquesMechanically inclined and able to troubleshoot mechanical problemsPositively motivate people and discipline when necessary
