Job Title: Order Filler/ Packer

Location: Plainsboro, NJ 08536

Contract: 6 Months (strong possibility of extension)

Shift Time: 3 rd Shift : 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Note: Candidate must be willing to train on 1st shift (7am-3:30pm). Candidate must be willing to schedule post-offer/physical testing requirements within 24-hours of offer acceptance.

Summary: All employees in this role must adhere to the Clean-Shaven Policy, as a respirator must be worn frequently throughout their assignment.

Description:

· Accurately weigh and pack orders in respective containers according to instructions.

· Operate all scales to weigh product for packing.

· Utilize company labelling procedures for packing and repacking orders and stock materials, including the immediate destruction of extra labels.

· Operate department pumps, filters, scales, and computer systems to perform work tasks.

· Follow company safety, quality, and operational procedures to verify and record information during container filling. This includes procedures for using equipment, tools, electronic/computer system.

· Take samples from raw materials and finished product for testing, while adhering to Quality Control requirements.

· Ensure safe operation of forklift, drum handling equipment and Big Joe Lift.

· Maintain work area in a clean and neat manner and in accordance with cGMP.

· Work and train under the supervision of experienced order filler.

· Follow inspection procedures for all containers prior to filling.

· Ensure proper storage of materials by following storage requirements for storage racks, freezers, cold and hot box.

· Always ensure the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment.

· Become certified and use a forklift when needed to transport raw materials and other chemicals on pallets for use in production.

· Train and become proficient in the proper sanitization of tanks, vessels, pots etc used in the batching and compounding of our products.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

· Prior experience handling chemicals.

· Equipment operator experience in a manufacturing environment.

· Knowledge of G.M.P's (Good Manufacturing Practices)

· Knowledge of H.A.C.C.P (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points)

· Minimum of 1-year prior experience handling chemicals in a manufacturing environment. (Related industries are chemical, biotech, pharma, and food)

· Individuals DO NOT need to have a HS diploma or a GED. An assessment will be sent out in replacement of this should the candidate be extended a FT opportunity. Potential offer for full time down the road.
