We are currently looking for a Product Owner to join our team to work hybrid from one of our offices in Exton, PA, Davidson, NC, or Ft. Lauderdale, FL.

Skills Requirements:

  • Customer-first mindset, ensuring user-centric product development.
  • Analytical thinking to provide qualified options for complex problems.
  • Data-driven insights for designing improvements and prioritizing enhancements.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
  • Organizational skills to manage information influx and project budgets.

Knowledge Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of financial services, particularly life and annuities.
  • Proficiency in contemporary requirements gathering and management practices.
  • Experience in managing SCRUM teams from a product perspective.
  • Familiarity with the entire Product Life Cycle and ACORD data model (preferred).
  • Understanding of the Pragmatic Product Management processes and methodology

Other Requirements:

  • Collaborate with the Product Manager to define product vision, strategy, and scope.
  • Identify product stakeholders and user groups.
  • Solicit requirements through interviews, data analysis, surveys, and site visits.
  • Write clear and concise requirements specifications.
  • Decompress high-level requirements into detailed functional specifications.
  • Define quality benchmarks, external interfaces, and project constraints.
  • Lead requirements analysis and validation.
  • Participate in requirements prioritization and manage changes.
  • Implement opportunities for continuous improvement based on data analysis.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or related experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of product owner experience (1 year in a customer-facing role).
  • Agile environment experience required.
  • Previous experience in insurance or financial services, with a focus on Life, preferred.
  • Certified Product Owner strongly desired. We follow the Pragmatic methodology and Framework.
