Description

Our client, a leading mid-sized organization with multiple locations across the United States, is looking to hire an HR Director.

Position Overview:

We are looking for an accomplished HR Director to oversee our human resources department and drive HR strategies that align with our business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in all aspects of HR management, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits, and HR compliance. The HR Director will play a critical role in shaping our company culture, fostering employee engagement, and supporting our growth and expansion efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that support the organization's overall business objectives and promote a positive work culture across multiple locations.
  2. Talent Acquisition: Lead the recruitment and selection process for all positions, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and overseeing the onboarding process to ensure a seamless and positive experience for new hires.
  3. Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted advisor to management and employees on HR-related issues, providing guidance and support to resolve conflicts, address performance concerns, and foster a respectful and inclusive work environment.
  4. Performance Management: Develop and implement performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and feedback mechanisms, to drive employee engagement and accountability.
  5. Training and Development: Identify training and development needs across the organization and develop programs to enhance employee skills, knowledge, and performance in alignment with business goals.
  6. Compensation and Benefits: Manage compensation and benefits programs, including salary benchmarking, incentive plans, and employee benefits administration, to attract and retain top talent and ensure competitive compensation practices.
  7. HR Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations across all locations, and develop and implement HR policies and procedures to mitigate legal risks and promote fair and consistent employment practices.
  8. Employee Engagement and Retention: Implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention, such as employee recognition programs, wellness initiatives, and career development opportunities.
  9. HR Metrics and Reporting: Establish key HR metrics and analytics to measure the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives, and provide regular reports and insights to senior management.
  10. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, such as Operations, Finance, and Legal, to support business initiatives, drive organizational change, and ensure alignment between HR and overall business strategies.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing HR functions for a multi-location organization.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Demonstrated experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits, and HR compliance.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate HR strategies into actionable plans and initiatives that drive business results.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage HR data and metrics to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
