POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Works under the direct supervision of the Assistant Director Trauma Clinic and the Executive Director of Trauma Services. Identifies, abstracts and enters selected trauma-related patient healthcare data into the EMR and trauma clinic systems. Manages Trauma Clinic referrals and schedules to assists patients with scheduling appointments, referral navigation, and authorization review, appointment reminders, answer calls for assigned clinic area and other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience. Experience in healthcare is required and experience with trauma is preferred. A high school diploma is required and a degree in a healthcare related field is preferred. Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred.
