This position is in a rural area, but easily commutable from the main campus hospital and metropolitan Winston-Salem, NC.
To be considered qualified, candidates must be:
- MD/DO
- BC/BE
- Fellowship trained
- Successful record of clinical and service excellence, research experience, and interest in graduate medical education
- North Carolina licensure or eligible
- Rank commensurate with credentials and experience

The beautiful Piedmont Triad region of North Carolina has a moderate climate with all four seasons and a cost of living well below the national average. The Blue Ridge Mountains and Parkway are a 1-2 hour drive to the north and west, and North Carolina's beaches are close enough to enjoy during long weekends. The region on an upward trajectory that still maintains its Southern roots and small town feel. Although the region is traditionally Southern in its friendliness, it has an international vibe with an array of festivals and a wide variety of restaurants and entertainment options.
