We are currently looking for a professional, motivated Senior EDI Specialist to join our team.

Position and Role

Boxout is currently hiring an experienced Senior EDI Specialist with keen analytical skills and an eye for detail. We are looking for a candidate that is highly organized, good at troubleshooting, forward thinking, has good communication skills and is self-motivated. The Senior EDI Specialist will assist with the overall Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) systems and processing at Boxout. The Specialist’s role is to develop, coordinate, implement, and communicate the organization’s initiatives for EDI systems internally and with define partners. The EDI Specialist will act as a liaison between business users, the Application development technical team, and trading partners to deliver cost-effective, high-quality electronic exchange of information.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Support of EDI partners and communications.
• EDI day-to-day management utilizing various technologies.
• Review project plans, coordinate project activity, and implement EDI initiatives.
• Review and execute organizational goals, policies, and procedures for the specific strategic recommendations related to EDI and the IT Department.
• Maintain the following systems, procedures, and protocols: AS2 Communications, SFTP Communications, VAN Communications.
• Facilitate partner connections by working with partner’s / Boxout EDI team / vendors. Coordinate communications between ERP and EDI systems.
• Review EDI errors/failures and take corrective action to ensure compliance with required methods and procedures.
• Full understanding of all EDI aspects (Forms, data conversions, transports).
• Full understanding of VANs.
• Must be able to learn quickly and adapt to new trading partners.
• Must be able to work additional hours as needed to meet deadlines and demonstrate an ability to work under pressure.
• Teamwork is a critical skill as this position is highly interactive with colleagues and other business contacts and all levels; interpersonal skills will be evaluated.
• Must demonstrate exceptional time management.
• Must demonstrate ability to research and resolve problems using a variety of resources and tools.
• Provide updates on status and completion to Director of Oracle Technologies and affected user(s) via voicemail and E-Mail.

Education and Experience

· Experience writing and executing queries in Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio

· Must have high technical aptitude

· Have worked on assignments that are complex in nature in which judgment, critical thinking and initiative are required to accomplish the objectives of the assignment

· Have successfully completed work tasks with minimal oversight

· Have successfully managed and prioritized multiple tasks

· Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

· Must have excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively interface with the Operations staff, and external representatives from the payer and provider communities
