We are seeking a Nursing Assistant/Registered (CNA/NAR) to support our residents in our Skilled Nursing Facility This role provides hands on care and support services for our senior residents at our spacious care center in St. Paul, MN.

This patient support position includes;

* 32 hours in 2 weeks
* Night shift
* Every other weekend and holiday rotation
* Partial Benefits; Paid time off, Cash Out Wages Before Payday with our New Benefit of Early Wage Access College, DHS education scholarship eligible

Ebenezer Integrated Care & Rehab (EICR) serves seniors with long-term, transitional, and dementia care needs in the heart of downtown St. Paul. As part of Fairview's Community Health and Wellness Hub, EICR is committed to delivering innovative, collaborative care. The Fairview Community Health and Wellness Hub opened in 2022 to deliver a variety of services to the community-from primary and mental health care to enrichment options for seniors, food access programs, and community gathering spaces. The Hub brings Fairview services together with local organizations-including Minnesota Community Care and Sanneh Foundation-to make it easier for people to access what they need to be well.

Responsibilities/Job Description

* Assists resident based on individual care plan with personal cares such as; bathing, oral hygiene, grooming, toileting, dressing, showers and responds to call lights
* Nursing Assistant may per community patient care model check and record vitals
* AM/PM cares; including peri care and catheter care
* May turn, lift or transfer residents with or without other persons/mechanical assistance
* Observes residents and reports status to appropriate staff in a clear and concise manner
* Chart or document in electronic medical record system
* Seeks to resolve resident and family concerns
* Receives and gives report to appropriate staff during various times in work shift
* Other duties such as; order and cleanliness in rooms and work areas, reports malfunctioning equipment to maintenance department, and answers phones in a timely manner

Qualifications

Required:

* Active on MN Nursing Assistant registry by start date
* If hired into the Ebenezer Nursing Assistant Training program, granted a 4-month grace period from hire date to be active on the MN Nursing Assistant registry

Preferred:

* Ability to work with a diverse and geriatric population
* Communicate efficiently, with empathy and understanding for residents and coworkers
* Experience working as a HHA, PCA, DSP, NA, Resident Assistant
* Work experience in a customer service setting
