Provides computed tomography imaging in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.

Reports to: Director Diagnostic Services and Imaging Supervisor

Drag Edit DeleteMonitors patient condition continually and reports/responds to changes in status as appropriate.
Drag Edit DeletePrepares equipment and supplies.Drag Edit DeleteImplements safety standards and performs appropriate quality control procedures on equipment.Drag Edit DeleteTroubleshoots, resolves, and/or reports equipment malfunctions as necessary.
Drag Edit DeletePositions patient and performs imaging procedure(s).Drag Edit DeleteAnalyzes results and identifies issues with the quality of imaging results.Drag Edit DeleteTakes appropriate action to resolve image quality issues, including repositioning patient and

Minimum Education
Graduate of a Radiologic Technology program - RequiredDrag Edit DeleteRequired Skills

Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved American Heart Association or American Red Cross training center must be obtained within 90 days of employment, if not current upon hireDrag Edit DeleteRequired Skills
Licenses:
Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R) (CT).
Registry Eligible New Hire; Cross-training staff or Transfer staff who are registered ARRT technologists will be considered and must acquire valid CT registration within 12 months of hire or transfer date.Drag Edit DeleteMinimum Work Experience
Six (6) months experience performing CT procedures
