Solar Sales Consultant:


Devlin Energy, is a local, family owned electrical construction company servicing all 6 New England States. We originally started out in 2009 as strictly Electrical Contractors (union and private), but after being approached with an opportunity to become a sub-contractor during the solar boom in 2010 we pivoted our work focus to solar construction. We pride ourselves on being electricians first – providing quality, code-compliant work, turned solar experts. Over the years we have evolved into are a full-service operation from sales & installation to managing post-install service work. Our main office is located in Rockland, MA with centralized warehouses across New England. We are seeking to filling a role on our in-house Sales Team as a Solar Sales Consultant focusing on solar & battery storage sales.


The ideal candidate is people oriented, outgoing, and motivated to reach monthly & quarterly goals. Experience in sales in the solar or construction industry with a proven track record for success preferred. Door knocking skills are a bonus, but not required.


Please Note: This is a full-time, in-office position: Monday - Friday at our Rockland, MA main office. We kindly as that if you cannot commit to this schedule, 5 days per week, that you withdraw as a potential candidate.


Job Type: Full-time

Pay: W2 Base plus Commission


Job Description:

  • Exceptional customer service
  • Ensures a clean transition of post-sale activity to other teams by delivering complete customer information
  • Capable of working well under pressure and meeting or exceeding monthly & quarterly sales goals
  • Manages the pipeline of activity from prospect to install by following up with all leads and in-home consultations
  • Communicating with the management team to analyze and improve marketing/sales tactics and processes
  • Ability to communicate and partner cross-functionally to address customer needs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Maintains current knowledge of the latest industry developments by attending sales meetings, sales events, trainings, and industry events
  • Manage accounts from an initial consultation to installation
  • Gather referrals from clients

Requirements:

Experience:

  • Sales Experience: 1 year (3+ Preferred)
  • Customer Service: 1 year (3+ Preferred)
  • Solar Experience Preferred, but not necessary if the right fit
