As a Healthcare Security Officer, you will be responsible for the physical security of the hospital campus and its surrounding grounds. In this position you will perform general security duties in the protection of persons and property and the enforcement of all applicable policies, rules, and regulations of the hospital.

Minimum Education • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Required Skills Certification/License: • Current and valid driver's license with a clear driving record
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office.
Language Skills: Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
Minimum Work Experience • Have one or more of the following o Associate's degree or higher in any discipline o Service in the active duty military, military reserve or National Guard o Service in auxiliary police or cadets o Minimum of one year verifiable and successful security experience • One or more of the following is preferred o Prior security experience in a healthcare environment preferred o Six (6) months or more experience involving direct customer interaction preferred
