Job Title: Compounding Technician

Location: Plainsboro, NJ.

Duration: 6 Months.

Shift: Mon. – Fri. 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Compounding Technician.

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

· Small scale Perfumery General Compounding support for both local and global formulae.

· Prepare fragrance compounds by precisely weighing accurate formulae ingredients using automated system.

· Ensuring all ingredients are quality and within expiration date.

· Perform other lab and project tasks as directed by the Lab Supervisors.

· Maintain an organized collection of Raw Materials

· Be able to help out with overflow work when volumes increase.

· Maintain a clean and well-organized laboratory/workplace.

· Identify inefficiencies and propose viable solutions following Lean Management principles and guideline.

· Assure compliance of HS&E procedures and proactively contribute to the improvement of lab safety.

· Wear appropriate PPE (gloves, goggles, lab coat, closed toed shoes) and follow safety protocols.

· Independent and efficient use of all internal tools for data collection/recording and administration.

· Maintain awareness of technology and issues affecting own job.

· Contribute to team success – Actively participates as a member of a team to move the team toward the completion of goals.

Required Education & Professional Experience:

· BS in Science required.

· High School diploma or equivalent experience in a production or manufacturing environment.

· 0-5 years in a laboratory/compounding environment.

· Quality Orientation – Accomplishes tasks by considering all areas involved, not matter how small. Showing concern for all aspects of the job. Accurately checks for processes and tasks.

· Customer Focus – Makes customers and their needs a primary focus of their actions. Develops and sustains productive customer relationships.
