Scaffold Builder

Scaffolders must meet the following requirements/qualifications

• Scaffolders duties associated with carpentry, scaffolding, and various laborer activities in a commercial or industrial setting.
• Scaffolders put up and take down scaffolding that allows workers to reach the higher levels of structures or naval vessels during construction, cleaning and renovation projects.
• Constructs, erects, maintains and dismantles scaffolding per OSHA specifications
• Scaffolders functions required for construction, maintenance and repair of architectural structures, assemblies and fixtures, including but not limited to wood, plywood, glass, fiberglass, carpeting, tile, wallboard and other architectural materials conforming to standard building codes

• At least three (3) years scaffold experience;
• Three (3) yeasr experience in a petrochemical, industrial, commercial or shipyard setting
• Must have knowledge of framing methods, building components, use of various patented form systems, shoring and layout work
• Has knowledge of the various woods, fasteners, hardware and other materials
• Ability to read and interpret civil drawings and specifications
• Ability to perform basic skills such as measuring, cutting, drilling and nailing
• Must be able to pass a drug and background screening
• Must be able to obtain a DBIDS Badge
• Must have own reliable transportation
• Must be able to work all shifts to include overtime, weekend and holidays
