Diesel Technician

Diesel Technician - 1st Shift - Toledo OH

Sofo Foods is one of the largest family owned wholesale distributors of Italian and ethnic foods in the US. We are looking for entry level and experienced Diesel Technicians to join our team on 1st shift.

Shift Responsibilities:

• Each day provide routine and preventative maintenance inspections and minor repairs of trucks and trailers.

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electric systems.
• Provide daily reporting of maintenance and repairs of trucks in the fleet.
• Work with our experienced technicians and managers to learn on the job.

Qualifications for Success:

• Someone who enjoys maintaining and repairing tractors and trailers to ensure smooth deliveries to our customers.

• Always up for challenge by troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems.
• Willing to learn trailer reefer refrigeration if you do not have this experience.
• Able to efficiently use of time management and ability to work without assistance.
• CDL A preferred or the ability to obtain, we will help you add this to your skills.
• Comfortable using computer related applications and software.
• Able to pass a background and drug test.
