Ambulance Attendant EMT

Willis-Knighton has full time EMT position for NIGHTS 7pm to 7AM. Must be a National Registry EMT - Basic and LA State License who attends patients transported by the Willis-Knighton Ambulance service. The EMT must have current BLS certification and the ability to obtain Louisiana CLASS D Drivers license. This full time EMT position job duties include but not limited to:

* Ambulance inspections for cleanness and proper equipment and medical supplies
* Keeping ready response vehicle for patient transports daily
* Will work cooperatively with other transport team members & demonstrates good public relation skills in dealing with physicians, nurses, hospitals, and referral agencies.

They will also maintain professional behavior and represent Willis-Knighton in a positive manner. At least one year of experience in patient care is required for this position and you must have a clear chauffeurs driver's license.
