Job Position: Cafeteria Manager

Location: Conestoga Valley, Smoketown Elementary

Pay Rate: $19.00/hr

Shift: M-F 07:00am-3:30pm

Food Service Position – Smoketown Elementary Cafeteria Manager

 

 Position Type: 10 month – Full time

 

Position Goal:

Assumes supervisory responsibility for the overall daily School Nutrition operations at Smoketown Elementary School. Successful completion of job duties will result in an eating environment where breakfast and lunches are prepared, served, and stored in an atmosphere that promotes food safety, sanitation, and a warm, inviting eating experience for students and adults. This position is responsible for following the NSLP regulations.

 

Minimum Requirements:

Minimum 3 years food service management with supervisory experience.

Quantity cooking/batch cooking experience preferred, Serve Safe Certified

Evidence of a cooperative attitude, leadership, and ability to work well with students, building-level. personnel and district-level staff

Knowledge of excel spreadsheets, Microsoft Word, Google Drive, and willingness to operate a cash register.

Evidence of dependability must have a valid driver’s license and access to personal transportation.
