Responsibilities

  • Provide patient care under the direct supervision of the Physician and the Registered Nurse.
  • Demonstrate responsibility and accountability in selecting, assembling, testing, and operating equipment and instruments in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Responsible and accountable in performing as a primary scrub person handling the instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during surgical procedures and vaginal deliveries while applying principles of sterile technique.
  • Contribute to expected patient outcomes in accordance with policies, procedures, established standards, and administrative policies.
  • Take call (30-minute response time).

Qualifications

Job Requirements

  • Accredited Surgical Technology Training Program.
  • NBST Certified Surgical Tech (for Certified only – upon hire) BLS (upon hire)

Preferred Job Requirements

  • One (1) year Surgical Tech experience
