  • *General Purpose**
Delivery of all products to DFA/St. Albans Creamery customers according to assigned delivery route schedule as determined by the store manager. Deliver products in a safe and timely manner according to company policies and the driver's manual. **Job Duties and Responsibilities**
  • Pick up empty totes and barrels
  • Make deliveries to each location depending on the farmer's recommendation
  • Collect money from all COD accounts
  • Adhere to all DOT regulations, including drug and alcohol testing
  • Follow all company safety policies as outlined in the driver's manual and company handbook
  • Follow all written and oral instructions communicated by the store manager
  • Maintain good driving record according to all federal and state motor vehicle laws, rules and regulations
  • Report any and all violations in accordance with the driver's manual immediately to the store manager
  • Keep track of proper maintenance needs of equipment being used (fuel, check oil, etc.)
  • Attend all driver workshops and training sessions
  • Maintain good attendance record according to company policies; must call in at least 2 hours prior to start of shift if sick, etc.

**Education and Experience**
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Driver delivery experience preferred but willing to train
  • Certification and/or License - Class A or B CDL license
  • Hazmat License preferred but will reimburse you for the cost to receive certification
**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**
  • Skills to demonstrate the technical and professional competence required to perform responsibilities and accomplish objectives
  • Familiarity with standard agricultural practices is preferred but not required
  • Able to demonstrate solid business judgment and possess decision-making skills
  • Able to provide honest and constructive feedback
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English
