Grain Merchandiser -Reports to the Commodity Manager. This position will be the face to the corn producers in the area. This is a truck and rail facility and will purchase grain direct from area producers and third parties. Currently over 60% of purchases are direct from area producers. This position does not have responsibility for facility management but will work in close cooperation with the area facility manager. This plant will use 40 million bushels of corn per year.3 to 8 years
experience. Must have comprehensive understanding of grain markets, hedging practices, logistics, trade concepts, grain contracting, and ability to manage counter-party risks. Competent on Computer.3 to 8 years
