Our client is currently seeking a Production Superintendent for their manufacturing facility in the San Francisco North Bay area.   Essential Functions:• Leads all functions to meet quality and food safety requirements.• Work with employees to develop good working relationships and high morale while performing administrative duties as it relates to the production process.• Training and developing employees, holding safety meetings, and troubleshooting areas that might cause a problems within production.• Complies with regulatory guidelines and fosters positive working relations with local and state agencies including USDA and OSHA.• Leads Supervisors with production scheduling to assure achievement of output schedules which meet company delivery requirements. Qualifications:• 3+ years as a Superintendent in a USDA environment.• Experience managing salaried Supervisors.• Must have experience in 1st Processing.• Microsoft Word and Excel proficient.• Demonstrated success in management of safety as well as food manufacturing environment compliances.• Must have excellent leadership, technical and problem solving skills.
