Our client is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Manager for their manufacturing facility a short drive from Savannah, GA*****RELOCATION ASSISTANCE IS AVAILABLE*****Description:Manages the systems that drive quality in the processing plantChampions the quality effort among employees in all departmentsEstablishes and integrates product standards including visuals for the production floorEnsures that food products meet standards set by the company, regulatory authorities, and customersDevelops and reviews food quality and safety policiesCreates and structures testing and verification procedures, including frequency and documentationManages Quality data collection, process measurements, process analysis, and reporting; Tracks key performance indicators (KPIs); Facilitates accurate data collection; Makes improvements as necessaryIdentifies areas of opportunity to reduce waste and improve efficiencyComprehends GMPs, sanitation processes, product recall procedures, and HACCP; Develops, implements, and manages related policyEnsures that all quality checks are completed; Documents and communicates findings and recommends corrective action for non-complianceManages audits by third-party inspectors Integrates quality and efficiency; Prevents unacceptable product from leaving the plantDevelops and provides training for quality assurance and line employeesMonitors production processesInspects the facility for compliance with standards, determining methods to resolve any problemsEnsures that records and documentation of monitoring procedures and test results are maintainedReviews customer feedback; Researches problem areas; Introduces solutions; Responds to complaintsSkills & Requirements:Bachelor's degree with 5-7 years of experience in QA management in a food-manufacturing environment preferredHACCP certifiedAbility to test products using applicable equipment and toolsComprehensive knowledge of food safety and food defense standardsBRC/SQF
